Adding Your Mold Design To The Site
We hope the Steel Mold
website will both be a useful resource for you and a way of showcasing
your expertise for the benefit of other users.
We have made it
easy for you to add your own contribution to the site and the
instructions of how to do it are below.
The benefits you'll get from adding your
mold design(s) to the Steel Mold Library
As a
contributor of a mold design you will have the benefit of our site
providing a link to your website enabling visitors to contact you if they
wish. We have an extensive mailing list in Europe and North America which we
will promote the website through, so your mold will get a large exposure.
This website is an excellent way of promoting your professionalism
and competence in the field. We offer this facility for no charge and
the only sold advertising on the site will be from suppliers of material
or components used by mold makers like yourself for the build of your
molds.
We hope you agree with us that this will be a win win
opportunity and we look forward to showcasing your work.
What do I need to do in order to add my
mould design to the library?
1) Choose a category in the mold library you would like your mold
to appear in.
2) Provide a picture of the mold in JPG/PNG format
(minimum resolution 640x480).
3) Provide a picture of the molded part in
JPG/PNG format (minimum resolution 640x480).
4) Provide a 3D drawing of the mold,
compiled in e-drawing format.
5) Provide your email and website addresses and we will add a link next to your
submission.
6) Please email all files and contact information to:
contribute@steelmold.org.
